10. SETTINGS

To enter the settings screen, select Menu SETTINGS and press the key.

10.1 General Settings

Use the and keys to select the setting you would like to change. Pressing will bring up the options available for your selection.

EXIT to save your changes.

Note: Bold items are the default values.

Aspect Ratio : The aspect ratio depends how the picture fits on your TV.

Note: Ensure that you select the correct resolution for your TV. Refer to your TV’s manual if in doubt. Should you choose a wrong resolution and the screen goes black, wait for 10 seconds without pressing any buttons and your PVR10HD will revert to the previous working resolution.

Audio Decode : Sets the audio output via the rear S/PDIF port. If your AV receiver can decode Dolby Digital

signals set it to “Dolby Digital”. If not, set it to “PCM” to output the decoded signal.

PIP : Enable or disable Picture-in-Picture. For more information on PIP, please refer to section 3.8 Picture-in-
