8.2 Auto Search

For most applications, AUTO SEARCH is the best option to quickly set up your PVR10HD.

Select Menu CHANNEL Auto Search

and press the key.

As soon as you press the OK key your, PVR10HD will automatically begin to search for all available HD and SD digital channels as well as available radio channels.

Once channel scan has completed the PVR10HD will exit from the AUTO SEARCH screen and display the first available channel in full screen.

8.3 Manual Search

If auto search is not finding a particular channel and you know the frequency and bandwidth details, then you may enter them in the Manual Search window.

Select Menu CHANNEL MANUAL Search

and press the key.

1.Use the key to move down to the Frequency (KHz) field and input the numbers

using the numeric keypad on the remote.

2.When done, use the key again to move down to the Bandwidth (M) field. Press and choose the appropriate bandwidth from the pop up menu.

3.Scroll down to the search type field and choose either Single or Network .

4.Move up to Begin Search at the top of the window and press to begin the search.

Once the search is complete you will be notified on-screen whether any channels were found.

8.4 Channel Information

Select Menu Channel Channel Info

This window displays information about current channel, such as PID values, frequency, bandwidth, signal level and signal quality. This information could be helpful to identify and solve reception issues.
