Adjusting other settings

To adjust other settings:

1Press TV MENU on the remote control, then press / to highlight the Function icon. The Function menu opens.

Setting the parental controls

To set the parental controls:

1Press TV MENU on the remote control, then

press / to highlight the Function icon. The Function menu opens.

2Press / or ENTER to enter the Function menu.

3Press / to select one of the following settings, then press / to change the setting. You can select:

•Menu Set—When Menu Set is

highlighted, press / or ENTER to enter the Menu Set sub-menu. In the Menu Set sub-menu you can select:

•Menu Language-English, French, or Spanish.

•OSD H-Position(OSD horizontal position).

•OSD V-Position (OSD vertical position).

•Zoom Mode—Wide1, Wide2, Normal, Zoom, or Cinema. (In VGA mode, only Normal or Wide1 are available.)

•Sleep Timer—Select the sleep time you want.

•Closed Caption—Off, CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4, Text1, Text2, Text3, or Text4.

•Parental Controls—For additional information, see “Setting the parental controls” on page 16.

•Restore Default-Select this option, then press ENTER to restore your TV combo to the factory settings.

4Press TV MENU one or more times to close the menu.

2Press / or ENTER to enter the Function menu.

3Press / to select Parental Controls, then press / or ENTER to enter the Parental Controls sub-menu. The Enter Password screen opens.

4Enter the password with the number buttons on the remote control (the default password is 0000). The Parental Control sub-menu opens.

5Press / to select one of the following settings, then press / to change the setting. You can select:

•Change Password-For more information, see “Changing the password” on page 17.

•System Lock-On or Off. (Movie Rating, TV Rating, Canada Eng, and Canada Fre are only available when System Lock is set to On.)
