Viewing Mail

DIRECTV uses the MAIL feature to send you important information, inform you of special events, and tell you about special offers.When you receive a new message, a New Mail icon appears at the top of all menus until you read the message. Highlight and SELECT the View Mail tab from the MAIN MENU.

Using Caller ID

Message SELECT the Messages button. Use the paddle or directional arrow buttons to navigate though messages.

Page – Use the CHANNEL(CH) button to cycle through a multi-page message when the cursor is in the Message area.

Erase – Permanently remove a message. Messages are automatically deleted as they become outdated or if space is needed for newer incoming messages.

Your DIRECTV® Receiver shows you CID information when you receive an incoming call. The caller’s name and telephone number appears in a banner across the lower portion of your screen while you’re watching TV.
