Using Caller ID

DIRECTV uses the MAIL feature to send you important information, inform you of special events, and tell you about special offers.When you receive a new message, a New Mail icon appears at the top of all menus until you read the message. Highlight and SELECT the View Mail tab from the MAIN MENU.

Message SELECT the Messages button. Use the paddle to navigate though messages.

Page – Use the CHANNEL(CH) button to cycle through a multi-page message when the cursor is in the Message area.

Erase – Permanently remove a message. Messages are automatically deleted as they become outdated or if space is needed for newer incoming messages.

Your DIRECTV® Receiver shows you the name, time, and telephone number of recent calls on your TV as shown in the figure below. Highlight and SELECT the Caller ID tab from the MAIN MENU.

*You must subscribe to Caller ID from your local telephone company to use this feature.

You can also highlight and SELECT a recent call from the Call History pane to dial the number shown on the screen.
