Adjusting the turn-over frequency

You can adjust the bass and treble turn-over frequencies.

Turn-over frequency

Frequency (Hz)

1 Press (SOURCE) to select a source (radio,

CD or MD).

2 Press (SOUND) for two seconds.

3 Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “BAS” or “TRE” appears.

Bass adjusting mode

4 Press (+) or (Ð) to select the turn-over frequency.

The turn-over frequencies change as follows:

Bass:

198 Hz n250 Hz n314 Hz* n396 Hz

Treble:

2.0 kHz n3.1 kHz* n4.0 kHz n5.0 kHz

*Factory-set frequency

5 Press (SOUND) for two seconds.

The display goes back to the normal playback mode.

Listening to each program source in its registered surround menu

— Source Sound Memory

You can listen to the same source always in the same surround menu even after changing the program source or turning the unit on and off again.

Note

If the optional TV tuner is connected “LSM” (Last Sound Memory) appears on the TV display.

Changing the line output level

1 Press (SHIFT), then press (2) (SET UP) until “L.OUT” appears.

2 Press (4) (n) to select the desired setting (–10 dB or –16 dB).
