Getting Started

Connecting the Speakers

Speaker Polarity

When connecting the speakers, make sure the polarities (“+” speaker wire to “+” on the receiver) of speaker wires and terminals are matched. If the cords are reversed, the sound will be distorted and lack bass (“out of phase” effect).

Do not ground the output line, it will cause damage to the speaker.

Speakers

There are 6 speakers equipped with the unit (2 front, 1 cen- ter, 2 rear, 1 subwoofer). In order to enjoy good surround effects all six speakers need to be connected to the receiver

Speaker cords

1 for each speaker, is needed for connection. Press down the tab to open the terminal and insert the wire. Release tab to lock wire in the termi- nal.

To ease speaker connections, the speaker cords and the ter- minals are color-coded. (please refer to the diagram)

Connect the speaker wire to the back of L, R front speakers and to the corresponding color terminals on the rear of the receiver. Do the same for center speaker, rear speakers and the subwoofer.

Push Speaker terminal tab down to insert wire.

Release tab to lock wire in the terminal.

NOTE: Make sure the insulation is completely removed from the ends of the Antenna and speaker wires at all connection points.
