Automatic channel search
1.Display the main menu by pressing the MENU button. Select the option Inputs / PIP, then Main input settings and then Auto Search.The corresponding menu appears.
2.Select under TV Standard the valid standard for your country.You have the following standards to choose from: SECAM L or SECAM L’ for France, SECAM L for Luxembourg, PAL DK or SECAM DK for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia, PAL I for the UK and Ireland, PAL BG for Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Note: Select the Auto setting to start the automatic channel search based on all the TV | EN |
standards. |

3.Under Search Form select All Programmes to
4.Under Programme Start Point, specify the channel number from which you want the numbering of the channels found to start.
5.Make sure that your country is selected under the Country option. If not, select it.
6.Select Start Search and press the button.The automatic channel search starts.
7.You can cancel the search by pressing the EXIT button.

Manual channel set-up
Follow the procedure given on this page if you find that some channels have not been stored during the initial
1.Display the main menu by pressing the MENU button. Select the option Inputs / PIP, then Main input settings and then Manual Search.
2.Under the option Programme enter a channel number that is not yet being used.
3.Select under TV Standard the valid standard for your country.You have the following standards to choose from: SECAM L or SECAM L’ for France, SECAM L for Luxembourg, PAL DK or SECAM DK for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia, PAL I for the UK and Ireland, PAL BG for Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
4.a. Select Channel Entry and enter the number of the reception channel of the
channel you are searching for using the numeric buttons on the remote control, or
b.Select Frequency and enter directly the frequency of the TV channel you are searching for using the numeric buttons on the remote control.
If the picture quality is not ideal, increase or reduce the frequency entered in small increments.You do this by pressing the button.The first number
starts flashing. Use the buttons to select the number to be modified,
and then the buttons to scroll through the numbers.
5.If the name of the channel does not appear under Name, select Auto and press the button to automatically search for the channel’s name. If this information is
not available you need to enter it manually.
You do this by selecting Name and following the procedure described in the section “Changing a channel name”.
6.If the channel is encoded and you want to connect a decoder to one of the AV sockets, under Option, select the option (Decoder A or Decoder B) which allows you to obtain decoded sound. If you do not want to use a decoder, select Normal.
Note: If a Canal+ decoder is being used, select Decoder B.
7.Under Decoder, select the AV socket (SCART1 or SCART2) which the decoder is connected to.
Note: If a Canal+ decoder is being used, select SCART1.
Repeat this procedure to find other channels.
