4Enter the channel number that contains the Automatic Clock Setting Signal

Press the SETUP button on the remote control.

DAYLIGHT-SAVING TIME

TV/VCR

Press the Arrow button K or L to select “SETTING CLOCK”. Press the ENTER button to enter “SETTING CLOCK” menu. Press the Arrow button K or L to select “AUTO CLOCK CH”. Press the ENTER button or the Arrow button { or B until you locate auto clock station number which you wrote down in step [3] on page 16.

Select this feature and the unit’s clock automatically will advance one hour in April, then reverse one hour in October.

When Daylight-Saving Time is ON, the clock will change automatically as follows:

•First Sunday of April : At 2 AM the clock imme- diately changes to 3 AM. Any timer programming you have set to occur between 2 AM and 3 AM will not record.

•Last Sunday of October : At 2 AM the clock immediately changes to 1 AM.

Press the SETUP button to exit the screen.

5Turn off the unit

Make sure ...

•The unit is turned on.

Once the unit is turned off , it will periodically check and set the correct date and time.

Press the SETUP button on the remote control.

Press the Arrow button K or L to point to “SETTING CLOCK”. Then, press the ENTER button.

Press the Arrow button K or L to	– SETTING CLOCK –
point to “D.S.T.”.	AUTO CLOCK	[ON]
Then, press the ENTER button until	AUTO CLOCK CH SEARCH
	AUTO CLOCK CH	[ 02 ]
[ON] appears.	MANUAL CLOCK SET
	B D.S.T.	[ON]

3Exit the Daylight-Saving Time mode

Press the SETUP button on the remote control to return to TV mode.

TO CANCEL THE DAYLIGHT-SAVING TIME

Repeat steps [1] to [2], and select [OFF] using the ENTER button.
