Setting the Sleep Timer

Using the On/Off Timer

The sleep timer automatically turns off the TV/VCR at the time you select. This is convenient if you like to fall asleep with the television on.

1With the main menu on the screen, press CH or CH until “Setup” is highlighted.

2Press VOL+.

The Setup menu is displayed.

3 Press CH

until “Sleep” is

highlighted.

 

4Press VOL+ or VOL– to set the length of time you want the TV/VCR to remain on; off, 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 240, or 360 minutes.

5Press MENU twice to exit the menu system.

This timer turns the TV/VCR on or off at a specific time. You may set the on time, the off time, or both the on and the off time. Whatever you choose, you must turn the timer on after you set the on or off times.

1From the main menu, press CH to highlight “Time Set.”

2Press VOL+ to display the Time Set menu.

Setting the on time

1Press CH to highlight “On Time.”

2Press VOL+ to make the hour flash.

3Press CH or CH to set the hour the set will turn on.

4Press VOL+ to make the minutes flash.

5Press CH or CH to set the minute the set will turn on.

Setting the off time

1Press CH to highlight “Off Time.”

2Press VOL+ to make the hour flash.

3Press CH or CH to set the hour the set will turn off.

4Press VOL+ to make the minutes flash.

5Press CH or CH to set the minute the set will turn off.

Turning the timer on

1 Press CH or CH to highlight “Timer.”

Press VOL+ to set the timer to
