Notes on memory cards

Memory cards available for this player are MMC and SDTM Memory Card.

Some memory cards may not be played back due to its capacity and/or manufacturer, etc.

Other memory cards are not supported. Do not insert any cards apart from MMC/SDTM Memory Card as this may cause a malfunction of the player or cards.

* MMC is a MultiMediaCard.

Saving data

It is recommended that you copy and backup any and all important information to a disk (MO disk, floppy disk, hard disk, etc.)

Recorded data may be lost or damaged in the below cases. Toshiba Corporation accepts no responsibility whatsoever for lost or damaged data.

You or a third party does not use the memory card correctly.

The memory card incurs damage from static electricity or electrical interference.

The memory card is ejected while in use.

Cautions for use

Ensure that you insert the memory card correctly into this player.

Do not eject the memory card while it is in use. If ejected while in use information on the memory card may be lost.

This memory card is a precision electrical instrument. Do not bend, drop or apply strong force to it.

Do not use or store the memory card in an environment of high static electricity or electrical interference.

Avoid using or storing in areas of high temperature and humidity.

Be careful not to touch with your fingers, nor allow foreign objects to come in contact with nor dirt to accumulate on the metal area (gold-colored area) of the memory card. Wipe off any dirt with a soft, dry cloth.

When carrying or storing the memory card always place

it inside of its antistatic case to avoid any effects from static electricity. If there is a storage case, place the memory card in the antistatic area of the storage case.

If you place a memory card that has been exposed to static electricity in this player, there is a chance that this player could malfunction.

Do not place the memory card in your pants pocket. The memory card may break if any strong force is applied, such as when sitting.

When ejecting the memory card after extended use it may feel warm to the touch. This is normal. The memory card is not malfunctioning.

The memory card is designed to have a long life but after extended use you will not be able to delete from or write to it. Please purchase another.
