Selecting the Playback Function - QUICK - (continued)

Playing in the selected mode

Memory playback DVD-V DVD-A VCD CD

You can combine your favorite titles groups, chapters, or tracks and play them in the order you determine. You can program up to 30 selections into the memory.

Select “Memory” and press the ENTER button. The on-screen display shown below appears.

To change the programmed selections

1While the display appears on the screen, press / / / to move the highlighted bar to the item you wish to change.

2 Correct the numbers.

To cancel the programmed selections

1While the display appears on the screen, press / to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to cancel.

To resume normal playback from memory playback

Press CLEAR while pressing SHIFT.

1Enter the number in the order you wish to playback, then press ENTER.

Each time you press the / button, the spaces of “TG” and “CT” are highlighted in turn. Highlight what you want to enter, then press the corresponding number buttons.

To select another chapter in the same title, you do not need to enter the title number.

To select another track in the same group, you do not need to enter the group number.

When using a video CD/audio CD, enter the track number.

Note

The space of “TG” may be a number. Neglect this number when using a VIDEO CD/audio CD.

2Press PLAY while the display appears on the screen.

The quick menu can also be available.

Notes

Some discs may not permit memory playback operation.

The memory currently on play can be repeated. Select Memory Repeat from the quick menu during the memory playback.

When the display appears on the screen, if you press the RETURN button, the display disappears.

The programmed selections will be cleared when:

you turn off the player.

you open the disc cover.

The player starts memory playback.
