Selecting the color temperature

You can change the quality of the picture by selecting from three preset color temperatures: cool, medium, and warm.

To select the color temperature:

1.Press MENU, then press x or to highlight the PREFERENCES menu.

2.Press y or z to highlight COLOR TEMPERATURE.

3.Press x or to highlight the mode you want.

Adjusting the picture preferences

You can select your desired picture type from three preset picture modes: Sports, Standard, and Movie.

To select the picture preferences:

1.Press MENU, then press x or to highlight the PREFERENCES menu.

2.Press y or z to highlight PICTURE PREFERENCES.

3.Press x or to highlight the mode you want.

The table below describes the effects of the different preferences.

Watching video input

You can use the TV/VIDEO button on the remote control or the TV/ VIDEO button on the TV to view a signal coming from other devices, such as VCRs or video disc players that may be connected to your TV. (See “Connecting your TV” on page 2.)

Displaying on-screen information

Press RECALL to display the following on-screen information:

Antenna mode (when in TV mode)

Channel number or VIDEO mode selected

Channel label (if preset)

Stereo or SAP (second audio program) audio status

V-Chip rating status

Setting the off-timer

You can set the TV so it turns off automatically. To set the off-timer:

1. Press MENU, then press x or to select the SET UP menu.
