Setting	Option	What it means
OSD Language	English •	On-screen displays of the player are in English.

	Languages as displayed	On-screen displays are shown in the language selected.

Angle Indicator	On •	A camera icon is displayed on-screen during multi-angle scenes on a DVD disc.

	Off	No multi-angle indication is shown.

Options settings

Setting	Option	What it means

HDMI Control	On •	Select when using the HDMI Control function. See HDMI Control on page 6.

	Off	Select when not using the HDMI Control function. See HDMI Control on page 6.

Pure Audio Button	Available	The Pure Audio Mode is turned on and off using the PURE AUDIO button on the front panel.

	Unavailable •	The PURE AUDIO button on the front panel no longer functions.

SACD Playback	2ch Area •	Selects the 2 channel (strereo) SACD audio area of the disc for playback.

	Multi-ch Area	Selects the multi-channel SACD audio area of the disc for playback.

	CD Area	Selects the standard CD audio area of an SACD/CD hybrid disc for playback.

DVD Playback Mode	DVD-Audio •	All material on a DVD-Audio disc is playable.

	DVD-Video	Only the DVD-Video part of a DVD-Audio disc is playable.

DTS Downmix	STEREO •	Downmixes DTS for 2 channel output to regular stereo. (See also DTS Downmix on page 35.)

	Lt/Rt	Downmixes DTS for 2 channel output to be compatible with Dolby Surround matrix decoders.

Parental Lock	–	See Parental Lock on page 35.

DivX VOD	Display	See About DivX® VOD content on page 36.

Audio Output Mode	2 Channel •	The player outputs analog audio in stereo only. See also Audio Output Mode on page 36.

	5.1 Channel	The player outputs 5.1 channel analog audio. See also Audio Output Mode on page 36.

Speaker Distance	–	Specify the distance of your speakers from your listening position. See also Speaker Distance on
		page 39.

Speaker Installation	–	Specify the number and size of speakers in your system. See also Speaker Installation on page 39.
