Remote Control

TV POWER

POWER

Switches TV ON and OFF.

INPUT

-Selects the VCR deck’s source (Tuner, LINE 1, or LINE 2).

-Selects the TV external source.

AUX

To listen to an audio source connected to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) jack with video from LINE 1.

SOUND MODE

Selects sound mode between BYPASS, PRO LOGIC, PRO LOGICII (MOVIE, MUSIC, MATRIX) and 3D SURROUND.

OPEN/CLOSE, EJECT (Z) - Opens and closes the disc tray.

-Ejects the tape in the VCR deck.

0-9 numerical buttons

Selects numbered options in a menu.

ZOOM

Enlarges DVD/VCD video image.

Switches DVD/VCR Receiver ON and

OFF.

TV

To control multi-brand TV.

DVD/CD

To control DVD/CD operating.

VCR

To control VCR operating.

FM/AM

Selects the DVD/VCR Receiver’s tuner as the listening choice (FM and AM bands).

PROGRAM

Accesses or removes Program menu.

COUNT RESET, CLEAR

- Resets tape counter to 0:00:00 - Removes a track number on the program menu or a mark on the MARKER SEARCH menu.

TOP MENU

INTRODUCTION

ANGLE

Selects a DVD camera angle if available.

SUBTITLE

Selects a subtitle language.

AUDIO

Selects an audio language (DVD) or an audio channel (CD).

SLOW

Forward slow playback of tape.

STOP

Stops playback.

PAUSE/STEP

Pause playback or recording temporarily/press repeatedly for frame-by-frame playback.

PLAY

Starts playback.

REW

Rewinds the tape during the STOP mode or for fast reverse picture search.

FWD

Advances the tape during the STOP mode or for fast forward picture search.

SKIP .

Skip to beginning of current chapter or track, press twice in quick successions to go to previous chapter or track.

SKIP >

Skip to next chapter or track.

REC/ITR (z)

Records normally or activates Instant Timer Recording.

REPEAT A-B, SP/SLP

-Repeats sequence.

-Selects recording speed.

REPEAT

Repeat chapter, track, title, all.

RANDOM

Plays tracks in random order.

Displays the disc’s Title menu, if available.

DISC MENU

Accesses menu on a DVD disc.

RETURN

Removes the Setup menu.

TUNING (v/V)

To tune in the desired station.

MARKER

Marks any point during playback.

SEARCH

Displays MARKER SEARCH menu.

VOLUME (v/V)

Adjusts volume of speaker.

Adjusts volume of TV.

DISPLAY, CLK/CNT

Accesses On-Screen display.

Switches among the clock, tape counter and tape remaining modes on the dis- play.

b/B/v/V (left/right/up/down) - Selects an option in the menu.

-CH/TRK (v/V): Selects VCR channels. Selects TV channels. Manually adjusts the tape’s picture onscreen.

TV/VCR

To view channels selected by the VCR tuner or by the TV tuner.

ENTER, MEMORY

-Acknowledges menu selection.

-Displays functions on the TV screen.

SETUP, MENU

Accesses or removes DVD Setup menu and VCR menu.

MUTE

Turns off sound from speaker connectors.

VCR and DVD functions (ex. PLAY).

To use the VCR, first press the VCR button.

To use the DVD, first press the DVD/CD button.
