Selecting the Input/Output Source

Follow these guidelines to select and switch among the

various DVD/VCR Receiver input and output sources:

 

 

 

 

• DVD/CD

 

 

 

 

To view output from the DVD deck:

 

 

 

 

Press DVD/CD on the remote or DVD/VCR on the

 

 

 

 

front panel until the DVD indicator on the front panel

• VCR

INPUT

 

 

 

To view output from the VCR deck:

 

 

 

 

Press VCR on the remote or DVD/VCR on the front

• AUX

 

 

 

 

To listen to an audio source connected to the

 

 

 

 

DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) jack with video

 

 

 

 

from LINE 1:

 

 

 

 

Press AUX on the remote control once. L1 OPT will

 

 

 

 

appear on the front panel display. Audio will come

 

 

 

 

from an external source connected to the DIGITAL

 

 

 

 

AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) jack and video will come from

 

 

 

 

an external source connected to the VIDEO IN jack

 

 

 

 

of LINE 1 (for rear panel).

 

 

 

 

To listen to an audio source connected to the

 

 

 

 

AUDIO IN jack of LINE1 with video from LINE 1:

 

 

 

 

Press AUX on the remote control a second time.

 

 

 

 

L1 will appear on the front panel display. Audio will

 

 

 

 

come from an external source connected to the

 

 

 

 

AUDIO IN jacks of LINE1 (for rear panel) and video

 

 

 

 

will come from an external source connected to the

 

 

 

 

VIDEO IN jack of LINE 1 (for rear panel).

 

 

 

 

• INPUT

 

 

 

 

To view a source connected to the front or rear

 

 

 

 

LINE inputs:

 

 

 

 

First, press VCR to select the VCR deck, and then

 

 

 

 

press INPUT to select LINE1 (L1) (for rear panel) or

 

 

 

 

LINE2 (L2) (for front panel).
