Getting to Know the DV-CP802—Continued

HAUDIO button (41)

This button is used to select foreign language soundtracks and audio formats (e.g., Dolby Digital or DTS). It’s also used to select the multichannel area, 2-channel area, or CD layer on SACDs.

IANGLE button (40)

This button is used to select different camera angles.

J Fast Forward [ ] button (31)

This button is used to start fast forward.

KFast Reverse [ ] button (31)

This button is used to start fast reverse.

LDISC 1–6 buttons (24)

These buttons are used to select discs. Playback starts automatically when discs are selected with these buttons.

MDISC SKIP button (23, 24)

This button is used to select the disc bays (i.e., rotate the disc tray) when loading or removing discs, and to select discs for playback.

NMEMORY button (29, 38)

This button is used with the Memory function.

OOPEN/CLOSE [ ] button (23)

This button is used to open and close the disc tray.

PCHAIN MODE button (34)

This button is used with the Chain mode function.

QREPEAT button (35)

This button is used to set the Repeat functions.

RA–B button (36)

This button is used to set the A–B Repeat function.

SRANDOM button (37)

This button is used with the Random function.

TDISPLAY button (42)

This button is used to display information about the current disc, title, chapter, group, or track, including the elapsed time, remaining time, total time, and so on.

UCLEAR button (27, 30, 39)

This button is used to cancel functions and to clear entered numbers.

VMENU button (26)

This button is used to show DVD menus.

WENTER button (21)

This button is used to start playback of the selected title chapter, group, or track and to confirm settings.

These buttons are used to navigate onscreen menus.

YSETUP button (48)

This button is used to open and close the onscreen setup menus.

ZSUBTITLE button (41)

This button is used to select subtitles.

This button is used to start playback.

This button is used to pause playback.

cStop [] button (25)

This button is used to stop playback.

dPrevious [ ] button (27, 30)

This button is used to select the previous chapter or track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current chapter or track.

This button is used to select the next chapter or track.

fSTEP/SLOW [+] & [–] buttons (31)

These buttons are used for frame-by-frame play- back and slow-motion playback.

gDIMMER button (32)

This button is used to adjust the display brightness.

hPROGRESSIVE button (41)

This button is used to turn on and off progressive scanning. Progressive scanning can’t be turned on or off during playback.
