Other Operations

The following operations can be performed directly from the remote controller.

Random Play

Repeat Play

A-B Repeat Play

Memory Edit Play

RANDOM

DVD VCD CD MP3

Repeat Play

Desired disc or title can be played back repeatedly. There are four repeat options:

Disc

Repeat the disc that is playing.

Title

Repeat the title that is playing.

Chapter

Repeat the chapter that is playing.

Track

Repeat the track that is playing.

 

 

 

ENTER

MEMORY

CLEAR

VCD CD MP3

Random Play

The chapters or tracks of the disc are played in random order.

Press RANDOM

RANDOM indicator lights up.

Display

RANDOM

Lights

Press REPEAT repeatedly during playback.

Each time you press REPEAT, the repeat option changes.

At the time of DVD playback

 

Repeat Disc

Repeats the entire disc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat Title

Repeats the current title.

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat Chapter

Repeats the current chapter.

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat Off

Resumes normal playback.

 

 

At the time of Video CD/CD/MP3 playback

 

Repeat Disc

Repeats the entire disc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat Track

Repeats the current track.

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat Off

Resumes normal playback.

 

 

 

 

 

 

To cancel repeat play

Press REPEAT so that REPEAT indicator goes off and “Repeat Off” appears in the upper right position on the TV display.

Notes

When playing a PBC-compatible Video CD with PBC on, you cannot play it repeatedly. To use repeat play, turn PBC off by pressing TOP MENU, then press REPEAT.

With some DVDs, repeat playback may not be possible.

To cancel random play

Press RANDOM so that RANDOM indicator goes off and “Normal” appears in the upper right position on the TV display. Each time you press RANDOM, random play will be on and off.

Notes

You cannot play DVDs in random order.

When playing a PBC-compatible Video CD with PBC on, you cannot play it in random order. To use random play, turn PBC off by pressing TOP MENU, then press RANDOM.

In Random play, Backward skip is not possible. You can only
