Language Setup

Player Menus

This sets the initial setup of language as well as the language used in On-screen messages such as “PLAY”.

English: To display setup menus in English.

Français: To display setup menus in French.

Español: To display setup menus in Spanish. : To display setup menus in Chinese.

Disc Menus

This sets the menu language to be used when playing a disc.

In addition to containing different audio languages, DVD may also contain menu screens in different languages as well. You can select languages from the list on the right.

Note

If a disc does not contain the selected language, the menu is displayed in the priority language set for each disc.

Disc Audio

This sets the language to be used when playing a disc. You can select languages from the list on the right.

Note

Depending on the disc, a language recorded on the disc may be given priority and selected automatically when the disc is loaded regardless of the setting.

Note

When you select [Other Selection], use the number buttons to enter a language code selected from the list on the next page.

This sets the subtitle language to be displayed when playing a disc. To turn off the Subtitle, select [OFF]. You can select languages from the list on the right.

Note
