Basic Functions

Playing a Disc

Before Playback

Turn on a TV and press the TV/VIDEO button to select video mode.

Turn on your audio system and select AUX, CD or DVD-R2000.

After plugging in the player, the first time, press the DVD-R2000 POWER button.

The STANDBY indicator light goes out.

Playback

1 Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.

Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s label facing up.

2 (double-sided discs have content on both sides, so you can place either side up).

For DVD-RAM discs, insert printed side facing up.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button or OPEN/CLOSE button to close

3 the disc tray.

Removing Disc

• Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
