Searching for a chapter/track

To search a chapter/track during playback

Turn the Shuttle dial.

For DVDs :

Plays at 2x

4x

8x 16x 32x 128x.

For VCDs :

Plays at 2x

4x

8x.

For CDs :

Plays at 2x

4x

8x.

To play normally, press .

The JOG/SHUTTLE button will light each time it is pressed.

When it lights, the Jog dial operates.

• When the light turns off, the Shuttle dial operates.

• To maintain the selected speed, hold the Shuttle dial at the current position, or make sure that the remote control is not facing the main unit's remote control sensor.

To skip a chapter/track

Press the buttons.

When the button is pressed

Moves back to the beginning of the current chapter, or to the previous chapter if you press within three seconds.

When the button is pressed

Moves to the next chapter.

Playing in slow/step motion

To slow playback while in the pause mode

Turn the Shuttle dial.

Each time the dial is turned, the disc is played at 1/8x 1/4x 1/2x.

To play normally, press .

• Reverse slow playback is not possible with VCDs.

To view frame-by-frame

Turn the Jog dial.

• Each time the dial is turned, the picture advances

Each time the JOG/SHUTTLE button on the

 

remote control is pressed, a light comes on.

 

* light is on: the Jog dial is activated.

 

* light is off: the Shuttle dial is activated.

 

• No sound is produced during a fast playback, slow

 

playback, and step motion playback.

 

However, sound is produced in 2x playback mode

 

when 2x audio is turned on.

 

• DTS disc may not produce sound during 2x playback.
