Dolby Digital 5.1 Channel Surround Sound is possible only if DVDs are recorded with "Dolby Digital 5.1 Channel" and a Dolby Digital amplifier is connected to the DVD player.

Check that the disc has "Dolby Digital 5.1 Channel" mark.

In the stop mode, press the SETUP button on the remote control to check that the audio setup in the initial setup is correct.

Camera angles can be changed only if DVDs have

multiple angles recorded them, and " " mark is shown on the disc and on the screen.

Check that the disc has menus recorded on it.

Check that the remote control is being used within the appropriate range of distance and angle of operation, and that there aren't any obstacles.

Check that the batteries in the remote are not exhausted.
