Familiarizing Yourself with The TV

Front Panel Buttons

The buttons on the front panel control your TV’s basic features, including the on-screen menu. To use the more advanced features, you must use the remote control.

ŒTURBO

Press to feel the middle and low sound effects when watching a music program.

´– VOL and VOL +

Press to change the volume or to change features on the menu.

MENU

Press the VOL+/- buttons simultaneously to see the menu of TV function. (Same function as the MENU button on the remote control.)

Side Panel Jacks

ˇCH and CH

Press to change channels or to select fea- tures on the menu.

¨Remote Control Sensor

Aim the remote control towards this spot on the TV.

ˆSTAND BY

Lights up when you turn the power off.

ØPOWER

Press to turn the TV on or off.

You can use the side panel jacks to connect an A/V component that is used only occa- sionally, such as a camcorder or video game. (For information on connecting equipment, see pages 2.1 – 2.6.)

ŒEARPHONE jack (Option) Connect a set of external earphones to this jack for private listening.
