To Select an External Input Device

Press the MENU button to display the menu.

Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select “Sound”, then press the ENTER button.

Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select “Ext.Audio”, then press the ENTER button.

Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select “Optical” or “Coaxial” then press the ENTER button.

Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select then press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button to exit.

•Optical cable: Changes electric pulses into optical signals for transmission. This transmission system transmits the digital audio signals in the S/PDIF format, in which the glass conductor transmits the signals in the form of light.

•Coaxial cable: Uses copper wires to transmit the digital signals.
