Setting the TruSurround XT

TruSurround XT is a patented SRS technology that solves the problem of playing 5.1 multichannel content over two speakers. TruSurround delivers a compelling, virtual surround sound experience through any two-speaker playback system, including internal television speakers. It is fully compatible with all multichannel formats.

1Press the MENU button.

Result: The main menu is displayed.

2Press the † or … button until the Sound is selected.

Result: The options available in the Sound group are displayed.

3Press the ENTER ( ) button.

4Press the † or … button until the SRS TSXT is selected. Press the ENTER ( ) button.

5Press the † or … button to change the setting. (Off, 3D Mono or Stereo).

6Press the ENTER ( ) button to confirm.

Selecting the Internal Mute

If you want to hear the sound through separate speakers, cancel the internal amplifier.

1Press the MENU button.

Result: The main menu is displayed.

2Press the † or … button to select Sound.

Result: The options available in the Sound group are displayed.

3Press the ENTER ( ) button.

4Press the † or … button to select Internal Mute. Press the ENTER ( ) button.

5Press the † or … button to change the setting. (Off or On).

6Press the ENTER ( ) button to confirm.
