Tape Speed Indicator

Cassette-In Indicator ( ) Lights when a tape is in the VCR. Flashes when VCR is ejecting tape.

Channel Number, Line Indicator (VID1), Time, Time Counter, or Status Indicator

The current time, time counter, channel number, or line input (VID1) is displayed. Press the INFO button to switch between the current time and elapsed-time counter. The status indicators show what the VCR is doing.

BYE Turned off

F.FWD Fast forward

HI Turned on

PLAY Playback

PAUS Play pause

REC Record

REC.P Record pause

REW Rewind

SLOW Slow motion

SRCH + Forward search

SRCH – Reverse search

STOP VCR stopped

T.REC Timer recording

REC Indicator Lights when the VCR is recording.

Tape Speed Indicator (SP or SLP) Displays recording speed selected with SPEED button.

TIMER Indicator Lights when VCR is turned off and set for timer recording. Flashes when timer recording is set and there is no cassette in the VCR.

VCR Indicator (Applies Only if your VCR Viewing Channel

is 3 or 4) Press the TV•VCR button to turn on or off.

VCR indicator on: Picture from VCR.

VCR indicator off: Picture from TV channel.
