Lights when a tape is in the VCR.

Channel Number or LINE

The channel number or line input is displayed.

Press INPUT to display LINE to record from the VIDEO and AUDIO IN jacks.

Hi-FiIndicator

Lights when the Playback: HI-FI/LINEAR /MIX feature is set to HI-FI or MIX.

SAP Indicator

Lights when the station you are tuned to is broadcasting SAP.

Status Indicators

Show what the VCR is doing.

EJECT	Ejecting tape
F-FWD	Fast forward
PLAY	Playback
PAUSE and D	Record pause
REC and D	Record
REW	Rewind
SLOW	Slow motion
SRCH +	Forward search
SRCH –	Reverse search
STILL	Play pause and
	Frame advance
STOP	VCR stopped
X-REC	One touch recording

STEREO Indicator

Lights when the station you are tuned to is broadcasting stereo.

Tape Speed Indicators (SP or SLP)

Press SPEED on the remote to change.

Time or Time Counter

Press DISPLAY to switch between the current time and elapsed-time counter.

TIMER Indicator

Lights when VCR is set for timer recording and VCR is turned off.

Flashes if tape is not inserted.

VCR Indicator (Applies Only to Basic Hookups)

Press TV•VCR to turn on or off.

VCR indicator on: Picture from VCR.

VCR indicator off: Picture from TV channel.
