You can enjoy moves and Internet applications with VUDU.

VUDU Movies is the leading HD on-demand video service. VUDU Movies is built into your BD Player and utilizes your existing Internet connection to deliver the highest quality on-demand video available today.

NOTE

To enjoy this function, make a broadband Internet connection to both your PC and the BD player (See pages 20–21), and then set Communication Setup (see pages 43–46), then perform the “Getting Started” operation to the right.

Your Internet connection is vital to your VUDU experience. Please refer to the chart below for minimum bandwidth requirements:

SD (DVD quality): 480p 1 Mbps to 2 Mbps

HD (HDTV quality): 720p 2.25 Mbps to 4.5 Mbps

HDX (BD quality): 1080p 4.5 Mbps to 9 Mbps

VUDU Movies is only available in the U.S.

Illustrations are examples and may differ from the actual VUDU screens.

Disc playback and this function cannot be used at the same time.

Getting Started

1Press HOME to display the menu screen.

2Press a/b to select “e-Contents”, then press d or ENTER.

3Press a/b to select “Vudu”, then press d or

ENTER.

The VUDU application screen is displayed.

The same operation can be performed by pressing ENTER after selecting the VUDU icon on the Wall Paper screen.

You can also display the VUDU application screen by pressing VUDU.

4Press a/b/c/d to select the desired item, and then press ENTER.

• Follow the instructions on the screen.

Watching a Movie on VUDU

When it comes time to watch a movie on VUDU, you will need to set up an account.

1Press a/b/c/d to select “Sign up for VUDU now! Click here to get started”, and then press

ENTER.

2Press c/d to select “SIGN up now”, and then press ENTER.

3Enter your e-mail address.

An activation e-mail will be sent to your PC. Click on the link to complete the activation process.

Following the instructions on the screen, make all the necessary settings.
