Reset to factory defaults:

The Reset To Factory Defaults option is provided to enable the user to completely reset the receiver. Unlike the Clear All Channel Information option which allows the user to clear only the channel list, the Reset To Factory Defaults option will clear all changes made by the user, including Installation, Channel Setup and Parental Control changes.

Reset To Factory Defaults menu:

After pressing OK the following menu will be displayed:

This process has been designed to be lengthy to minimise accidental resetting of the receiver to it”s the default condition.

Press F2 to proceed to the next step, any other key will return you back to the installation menu.

You are asked to confirm this once more. Pressing OK at this point will enable the “Reset to Factory Default” function.

Pressing any other key will return you back to the installation menu.

Beyond this point, all stored settings (including LNB, TV/VCR configurations, parental/installation access control, and preferences) will be lost.

This final screen confirms the receiver has been reset to factory defaults.
