DESCRIPTION

VEPRO System is the Digicom’s innovative solution for the remote control and videoalarm.

A cutting edge solution of security projected and carried out by Digicom to build a wireless videoalarm system with EDGE, GPRS or LAN connectivity.

All the Vepro tecnology is mainly based on the concentrator, with Gateway functions, that is able to monitor up to 4 IP videocameras (via Wi-Fi or LAN) and up to 20 intelligent sensors (Smart series).

The concentrator is equipped with a Class 10 EDGE/GPRS communication device that allows the remote control of the installation status and to send the alarms to the headquarter.

The system is composed by Wi-Fi IP videocameras (IP Camera 300), by wireless sensors and by backup systems to guarantee the operation even when power is off.

The 433MHz wireless sensors are continuously controlled by the concentrator that sends scheduled SMS and checks the battery charge. Each sensor is unique of its kind (as in high level alarm systems) and allows an exact identification of the alarm zone.

The latest generation IP videocameras can operate by day and night as they are equipped with a light sensor and an infrared led. Furthermore they can manage the Duplex function with a double flow of images both in photo format (JPG) and in streaming in MPEG-4 format. The videocamera can be supplied with a battery back-up device to guarantee the operation even when power is off.
