Appendix B: Remote Control Programming, continued

After entering the correct code for each position of the slide switch on the remote control, use the slide switch to select the product you wish to control when an opera- tional button is pressed. Only one of the devices listed below operates in each slide-switch position.

*If you have a Mitsubishi A/V receiver, you may be able to use the AUDIO position in conjunction with some Mitsubishi CD players. The AUDIO position must be pro- grammed to 010.

When your remote control has been programmed to operate another manufacturer’s product, the functions performed in each slide-switch position can vary. The most common functions are shown in the following table.

IMPORTANT

Some manufacturers may change their products, or they may use more than one remote control system. If this is the case, the TV remote control may not be able to operate your VCR, DVD player, cable box, satellite receiver, or A/V receiver.
