Protecting a Title

If you want to protect a title from accidental recording, editing, or erasing, you can protect the title. Later, if you change your mind, you can unprotect the title.

3Select the title to be protected using [… †] and press [OK].

4Select ‘Edit’ using [… †] .

5Press [OK] to go to submenu.

6Select ‘Protect’ using [… †] .

7Press [OK] to protect the title.

8Protect icon will appear at the bottom of title number.

9To ‘Unprotect’ the title, follow the same procedure as the Protecting a Title.

Combining two titles

Follow these instructions to combine two titles.

3Select the title to be combined using [… †] and press [OK].

4Select ‘Edit’ using [… †] and press [OK] to go to submenu.

5Select ‘Combine’ using [… †] . Press [OK]. Combine icon will appear at the top of title number.

6Select another title using [… †] and press [OK].

7Select ‘Start Combine’ using [… †] and press [OK]. Selected two titles are combined one.

8To cancel the combine, select ‘Cancel’ and press [OK] or press [BACK].
