HDD Playback and Editing
HDD Parental Lock
This menu will appear only when it’s set to 'On' in 'Setup - Preferences - Parental Controls - Set HDD Parental Lock' menu.
When you lock a program, the parental password selected in the Setup menu will be used.
The user will be asked to Unlock the program before Play or any Edit or Dubbing operation.
3Select the title to be locked using [… †] and press [OK]. Select ‘Edit’ using [… †] .
4Press [OK] to go to submenu.
5Select ‘Parental Lock’ using [… †] .
6Press [OK] to lock the title.
7If you enter the password, the title is locked.
8Lock icon ‘ 
’ will appear in bottom of Title number.
9To ‘Unlock’ the title, select ‘Unlock’ in step 5.

Sorting a HDD title
Follow these instructions to sort a title from the Title List by varying the order.
3Select the title to be sorted using […†] and press [OK].
4Then select ‘Sort‘ using […†].
5Press [OK] to go to submenu.
6Select the desired sort option using […†].
7Press [OK] to sort the list.
•Record Date : sorts by record date.
•Alphabetical : sorts by alphabetical order.
•Delete Order : sorts by record date and displays protected titles at the end.
•Protected : sorts by protected titles.

Dubbing a HDD title to DVD disc
Follow these instructions to copy the title(s) selected with the same properties (title name, duration, index picture, Lock, Chapter Mark) information over to DVD.
3Select the title to be dubbed […†] and press [OK].
4Then select ‘Dubbing‘ using […†].
5Press [OK] to go to ‘HDD Dub Mode’ menu.
6The ‘HDD Dub Mode’ Menu will be displayed. For more detailed information about ‘HDD to DVD Dubbing’ procedure, go to page 51.
