If you connect a microphone to one of the AUDIO IN jacks, you can communicate with computers that are remotely connected to the DVR. After connecting the microphone, simply enable

live audio and the channel which it is connected to (see pg.35 for more information on audio settings). Audio will be transmitted to the connected PC until the LIVE AUDIO setting is turned to OFF, or the microphone is disconnected.

NOTE: Only one audio device can be equipped per channel. For example, you can not have an audio equipped camera and a microphone plugged in to channel 1 at the same time.

CONNECTING A TV/EXTERNAL SPEAKER (NOT INCLUDED) FOR LISTENING TO LIVE AUDIO OR 2 WAY COMMUNICATION

Connecting a TV or external speaker to the audio out jack allows you to listen to live audio from one of your audio-equipped cameras (not included). After connecting the TV or speaker, simply enable live audio and the channel which it is connected to (see pg.35 for more information on audio settings). Audio will be transmitted to the speaker until the LIVE AUDIO setting is turned to OFF, or the speaker is disconnected.
