NOTE: If the capacity of HD 2 is not sufficient to store all selected video, a warning message “HD2 SPACE NOT ENOUGH” will be displayed on the screen. Please, insert a larger capacity of hard-disk drive and start the process all over again.

3.5.3 SD Card Backup Operations

The SD card slot of the rear unit has four functions as shown below:

3.5.3.1Archive Single image Clips into an SD

Card

Please take the following steps to archive a critical image in an SD card.

(1)Insert an SD Card into the SD card slot of the rear unit.

(2)Start playing back the recorded video.

(3)Press the PAUSE button 3 to freeze the desired pictures.

(4)Press the Seq./Save button 15 to save the image in the SD Card.

The quantity of pictures which can be stored depends on the SD card capacity. You can have the saved images printed out in any computer. The image is stored in the JPEG compressed format. If more than one clip is stored in an SD card, file names will be assigned in sequence as shown below.

(5)If you have already saved the current picture on your screen. Please click the corresponding channel and then press Seq./Save 16 button to save.

3.5.3.2Archive video of AVI clips into an SD card

Please take the following steps to archive a critical video in an SD card.

(1)Insert an SD Card into the SD card slot of the rear unit.

(2)Start playing back the recorded video.

(3) Press the PAUSE button 3 to freeze the desired pictures.

(4)Press the Seq./Save 16 button to save the video in the SD Card.

The quantity of video which can be stored depends on the SD card’s capacity. The image is stored in the AVI compressed format. If more than one clip is stored in an SD card, file names will be assigned in sequence as shown below.
