Falling asleep to music

— Sleep Timer

You can set the system to turn off after a certain time, so that you can fall asleep to music. You can preset the time to turn off in 10 minutes increments.

Each time you press the button, the minute display (the turn-off time) changes as follows:

If you select “AUTO”

The system turns off after 100 minutes.

The system also turns off automatically when the current CD, MD or tape (only when using the optional TC-TX373 tape deck) finishes playing.

To check the remaining time

Press SLEEP once.

To change the time to turn off

Select the time you want by pressing SLEEP.

To cancel the Sleep Timer function

Press SLEEP repeatedly until “SLEEP OFF” appears.

Tip

You can use the Sleep Timer, even if you have not set the clock.

Note

Do not set to “AUTO” during CD-MD Synchro Recording.

Waking up to music

— Daily Timer

You can wake up to music at a preset time. Make sure you have set the clock (see page 6).

1 Prepare the sound source you want to play.

CD: Place a CD. To start from a specific track, make a programme (see page 17).

MD: Insert an MD. To start from a specific track, make a programme (see page 22).

Radio: Tune in a station (see page 7).

Tape: Insert a tape in the optional tape deck TC-TX373.

2 Press VOLUME +/– to adjust the volume.

3 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.

“SET DAILY” appears.
