Connecting to a TV and a Stereo

Connect the Player’s COAXIAL jack or OPTICAL jack to |

the Stereo’s COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO IN jack or |

1 OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO IN jack. You only need to use one |
| |
of the jacks, not both. |
| |
Use an appropriate digital audio cable (not supplied). See your |
| |
electronics retailer for details and availability. |
| |
Connect the supplied video cable to the Player’s yellow |
| |
VIDEO (VIDEO OUT) jack and to the TV’s |
| |
2 VIDEO IN jack. The supplied video cable has yellow markings. |
| |
Plug the power cords of the DVD Player, Stereo, and the TV |
| |
into an active power outlet. Press |
| |
3 front of the DVD Player to turn it on. |
| |
Turn on the Stereo and set it to the correct Audio In |
| |
4 details.channel or sound source. Refer to the Stereo owner’s manual for |

Turn on the TV. Set it to the correct Video In channel. See |
| |
your TV owner’s manual for details. Or, go to your lowest TV |
| |
5 channel (01 or 02) and change channels downward until you see the |
| |
DVD screen on the TV. |
