Switching on/ to standby and selecting functions
1To switch on, press B, or press SOURCE, or iPod (or DISC/TUNER, iPod/AV, or DTV/ ATV on the remote control).
➜ The system will switch on the last selected source.
2To select your function, press SOURCE or iPod once or more (or DISC/TUNER, iPod/AV, or DTV/ATV on the remote control).
3Press B to switch the set to standby.
Helpful hints:
– In the standby mode, the tone, sound settings, tuner presets, and the volume level (up to a maximum volume level of 20) will be retained in the set’s memory.
Display information
●During playback, press DISPLAY to switch between the clock/timer display and the status of the set (or on the remote control, INFO / DISPLAY).

On the TV screen, you can adjust your picture settings: Brightness, Contrast, Color and Tint.

1On the remote control, press PICTURE once or more to select BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, COLOR and TINT.
2Press VOL +/- to adjust the value between 00 and 32.

●Press VOL +/- to adjust the volume.
➜ Display shows VOLUME and. a number from 00 to 32.
DSC
Digital Sound Control enables you to select predefined sound settings.
●Press DSC repeatedly to select your desired sound setting:
➜ CLASSIC, POP, MOVIE or SPEECH is displayed.
MUTE
During playback, you can temporarily switch off the sound without switching off the set.
1Press MUTE to switch off the sound.
➜MUTE appears on the TV screen .
Playback continues without sound.
2To switch on the sound, press MUTE again or adjust the volume with VOL controls.
