TURNING ON THE DYNAMIC NOISE REDUCTION (PICTURE) CONTROL

Due to reasons such as poor cable reception, the picture can some-

time appear slightly “speckled” (signal noise in the picture). The DNR (Dynamic Noise Reduction) control can help eliminate this type of interference and improve the quality of the picture.

Press the CURSOR DOWN to highlight the DNR control.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT ▶▶ button again to highlight the DNR

option area.

Press the CURSOR UP or CUR- SOR DOWN buttons to turn the

DNR feature ON or OFF.

TURNING ON THE CONTRAST + CONTROL

The Contrast + feature helps to “sharpen” the picture quality. The

black portions of the picture become richer in darkness and the whites become brighter.
