Use EPG

1When watching TV, press GUIDE. » The EPG planner screen appears.

2Press (Home).

»The program guide menu appears.

3Press to select an option, and then press OK to con rm it.

4Press (Home) to exit the EPG menu.

Note

Only the channels marked with [x] in the [Pref. EPG channel] list, appear in the EPG menu.

Use timers

You can set timers to switch theTV on or switch to standby at a speci ed time.

Automatically switch theTV to standby (sleep timer)

Sleep timer switches the TV to standby after a pre-de ned period of time.

Tip

You can always switch off your TV earlier or reset the sleep timer during the countdown.

1Press (Home).

2Press to select [Setup] > [Features] > [Sleeptimer].

3Press to set the sleep time.

» The sleeptimer can be up to 180 minutes

in steps of ve minutes.If set to zero minutes,the sleeptimer is switched off.

4Press OK to activate the sleeptimer.

»TheTV switches to standby after the pre-de ned period of time.

Use child control and rating locks

You can prevent your children from watching

certain programs or certain channels by locking

theTV controls and by using ratings.

 

Set or change your PIN code

1Press (Home).

2 Press to select [Installation] > [Child lock] > [Change code].

3Enter the code with the Numeric buttons.

»A message appears con rming that your code is created or changed.

Tip

If you forget your code, enter ‘8888’ to override any existing codes.

Use age ratings lock

1Press (Home).

2 Press to select [Installation] > [Child lock] > [Age ratings lock].

3 Press .

4Key in your PIN code.

5Select an age group from the list.

Use content ratings lock

1Press (Home).

2 Press to select [Installation] > [Child lock] > [Content ratings lock].

3 Press .

4Key in your PIN code.

5Select a content classi cation from the list.
