OPTIONAL SURROUND SOUND CONNECTIONS

Extra speaker connections have been supplied on the rear of

the PTV. These extra connections are especially important for some of the optional Amplifier and multi- speaker arrangements that are possible with Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound audio features.

For example: With the Surround mode multiple speakers are needed to complete the setup for proper DOLBY SURROUND sound playback-

2 Front Left/Right Speakers

1 Center Channel Speaker

2 Rear Surround Speakers

The Front Left/Right, Center, and Rear Surround Speakers have their signals supplied by the connections located on the back of the Dolby ProLogic Audio Receiver.

Note: A CENTER CHANNEL AMP(plifier) INPUT is also located on the PTV. This input can be used to connect the external Audio Receiver's Center Channel Output in order to play Center Channel sound through the internal PTV speakers.

When an Audio Receiver is used as the audio source for the CENTER CHANNEL AMP INPUT:

Place the PTV's AMP SWITCH to the EXTERNAL position
