Zero Return

The videotape counter shows the elapsed recording or playback time in hours, minutes and seconds from the point at which the counter was set to 0.The counter time will not change on a blank tape or blank portions on a tape.The “–” before the tape counter indicates the amount of remaining recording/playing time before the counter reaches 0.

Follow the steps below to reset the tape counter to 0 at a tape location you want to refer to later.

1 Play, rewind or fast forward the tape to the location you would like to refer to later. Press STOP C to stop the tape.

2 Press C.RESET to set the counter to 0:00:00.

3 To return to this same point later, press SETUP. Press or to select ZERO

RETURN.Then, press ENTER.

The tape counter will appear on the screen.When the tape reaches the point at which you set the counter to 0, the tape will stop. Press PLAY B to watch the tape from the designated point.

Sleep Timer

Use the Sleep Timer to program the TV/VCR/DVD to shut off in a certain amount of time.

1 Press SLEEP until the correct amount of time appears on the screen with SLEEP. Each press of SLEEP will increase the time by 30 minutes.You may set a Sleep Timer of 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.

After 5 seconds, the Sleep Timer information will dis- appear from the screen.The TV/VCR/DVD will turn itself off after the selected amount of time has passed.

To Cancel the Sleep Timer

Press SLEEP until “SLEEP 0 MINUTE” appears.
