40 Videotape Playback Features

Slow Motion

1 Press k during playback to pause the video- tape.Then press i / g to start slow motion. Sound will be mute during slow motion. Slow motion will stop automatically after 5 minutes to prevent damage to the tape.

2 Press PLAY B to return to normal playback.

Forward and Reverse Searching (SP/LP/SLP)

1 During videotape playback, press and release j / h or i / g. A fast forward or reverse picture search will begin.

2 To return to normal playback, press PLAY B.

Super High Speed Searching (LP/SLP)

During tape playback, press j / h or

1 i / g, then press again. The TV/VCR/DVD will search the tape in high speed.

Press j / h or i / g repeatedly to switch between regular and high speed searching.

2 To return to normal playback, press PLAY B.

Viewing a Still Picture

1 During tape playback, press k .

A still picture will appear on the screen.The picture advances each time you press k .

After a tape is paused for 5 minutes, playback will stop automatically.This prevents damage to the tape and TV/VCR/DVD.

2 If the still picture vibrates vertically, stabilize the picture by pressing CH. o or p.

3 To release the still picture and return to normal playback, press PLAY B.

During forward and reverse searching, horizontal noise bars will appear on the screen.
