Setting Up your DVD/VCR

Automatic Channel Setup

You can programme the tuner to scan only the channels that you can receive in your area.

1Turn on the TV and select the TV channel to the video channel on the TV.

2Press the VCR button, then the MENU but- ton.

3Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select INITIAL, then press the FF g button.

4Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select CH TUNING, then press the FF g button.

5Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select AUTO, then press the FF gbutton.

CH TUNING

MOVE

The tuner scans and memorizes all the active channels in your area. After scanning, the tuner stops on the lowest memorized chan- nel.

6Press the P +/– buttons or numerical key pads button to scan through channels you have received.

Manual Channel Preset

1Press the VCR button, then the MENU but- ton.

2Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select INITIAL, then press the FF g button.

3Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select CH TUNING, then press the FF g button.

4Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select MANUAL, then press the FF g but- ton.

5Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select POSITION, then press the FF g but- ton.

When a weak signal is received in Manual Tuning mode, you can change the background to solid blue or the static screen by pressing the CLEAR button.

6Press the PLAY B , STOP C button or numerical key pads button to select your desired position number, then press the FF g button.

You can select position number 01-99.

If you want to remove scrambled signals, press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select DECODER.Then, press the FF g button to select [ON].

7Press the PLAY B or STOP C button to select CHANNEL, then press the FF g button.

8Press the PLAY B or STOP C button.The DVD/VCR tuner will begin to search up or down automatically.When a channel is found, the DVD/VCR will stop searching and the pic- ture will appear on the TV Screen.

You can select desired channel number by using the number buttons.You must refer to the channel plan and press three digits to select the channel number. (To select channel 24, first press “0” button then press “2” and “4”).

If this is the channel you want, press the FF g button.

9Press the MENU button to exit.

Note:

– To confirm that a channel has been added, press the PROG +/– buttons.
