DVD Operation

MP3 Playback MP3

When a CD with MP3 files in the DVD/VCR, the MP3 menu will appear on the TV screen.

1In stop mode, press the K or L button to select the desired Album or Track.

To play a choosen track, press the PLAY B or the OK button.

To play a choosen album, press the K or L button to select the desired track,then press the PLAY B or the OK button.

Choose FIRST PLAY to start playback from the beginning of the listed tracks.

Press the TITLE button to return to the first item.

2Press the STOP C button to stop playback.

Note:

Folders are known as Albums; files are known as Tracks.

Up to the eighth hierarchy can be played.

Total of 255 Albums and Tracks can be recognised.

You can play MP3 files as follows. Sampling frequency: 44.1 khz or 48 khz Fixed bit rate: 112kbps to 320kbps (Variable bit rate is not playable.)

Display Information MP3

You can check the MP3 files during playback.

1Press the DISPLAY button.

a The playing track will be highlighted.

2Press the DISPLAY button again to show the elapsed playing time appear at the top of the display.

T - indicates Track repeat

A - indicates Album (folder) repeat

D - indicates Disc repeat

3Press the DISPLAY button again to exit.

Track Selection MP3

1Press the SEARCH MODE/TIME SEARCH button during playback.

a The SEARCH menu will appear.

a The current track will be highlighted.

2Press the K or L button to select a desired track.

4Press the RETURN or SEARCH MODE/TIME SEARCH button to exit.

Random Playback MP3

1Press the MODE button twice during playback is stopped.

2Press the PLAY B button to play the tracks in random order.

Programmed MP3

1Press the MODE button during playback is stopped.

2Press the PLAY B button to play the tracks in random order.

3Press the K or L button to select a track, then press the OK button.

Press the CLEAR button to erase the incor- rect input.

Audio Language DVD

The DVD/VCR allows you to select a language during DVD disc (if multi language available) playback.

1Press the DVD button, then press the AUDIO button during playback.

2Press the AUDIO button repeatedly to select your desired language.

Stereo Sound Mode CD

Press the AUDIO button repeatedly during playback to select between AUDIO STEREO, AUDIO L-CH or AUDIO R-CH.

AUDIO STEREO - both right and left chan- nels are active (stereo)

AUDIO L-CH- only left channel is active AUDIO R-CH- only right channel is active
