Playing back NTSC cassettes
If you are using a PAL TV set which is capable of showing a frame frequency of 60 Hz, you can play cassettes which have been recorded on the NTSC standard (USA, Japan, etc.). During an NTSC playback, some special functions (e.g. still picture) are not possible. The display will show “60HZ”
