BATTERY CHARGING

IMPORTANT! The battery must be removed from your vehicle for the initial charge in order to complete assembly. After assembly is complete, you do not need to remove the battery from your vehicle to recharge it.

Loosen the screws located on the back end of the seat.

Lift the seat from the vehicle.

Plug the battery connector into the charger connector.

Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.

Notes:

-If power flow to the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, make sure the switch is “ON”.

-Use the charger only in a wall outlet. Do not plug the charger into a ceiling outlet.

Once the battery is charged, disconnect the battery connector from the charger connector. Unplug the charger from the wall outlet. Refer to the Battery Installation section for instructions on installing your battery. If your battery is already installed in your vehicle, simply re-connect the motor harness connector to the battery.

Loosen the screw in the battery retainer and remove it.

Lift the battery retainer and remove the battery from the battery compartment.
