Insert a hood latch into each slot in the front end of the vehicle.

Turn each hood latch a 1/4 turn to fit in place. Pull up on the hood latches to be sure they are secure.

Using a slotted screwdriver, turn each lock fastener in the hood

1/4 turn to the locked position.

IMPORTANT! Remember to keep the lock fasteners locked at all times to prevent children from accessing the vehicle battery compartment.

Insert the tabs on the rear edge of the hood into the slots in the front of the dashboard.

Pull the hood forward. Lower the hood closed.

Brush Guard

Fit the brush guard to the front end of the vehicle.

Hint: Using the end of a Phillips screwdriver, poke a hole in the thin plastic covering over the lower holes in the brush guard.

Insert two #10 x 1" screws through the lower holes in the brush guard and into the front end of the vehicle. Tighten the screws.
