BUILT-IN LOCKING CLIP

Always pass the belt holding the Base through the Locking Clip even when only one belt is used, e.g. a LATCH or Lap only belt.

Using the Locking Clip will improve the overall performance of the car seat in a crash.

When the Base is secured with a Lap/Shoulder Belt both the Lap and Shoulder belts need to pass through the Locking Clip.

Check that the base is securely held.

If the base moves easily more than 1" (25mm) to either side, try another position, or do not use the car seat in the vehicle.

When installing the base, ensure the bottom of the base is in contact with the vehicle seat.
