The First Years advises parents that children should use a child restraint with a built-in harness system until they exceed the weight or height limits specified by the manufacturer.

C630 True Fit Convertible Seat Rear Facing

Use Requirements:

This child restraint, without the upper seatback in a rear facing position is, designed for use by children whose:

-Weight is between 5 and 22 lbs (2,3 and 10 kg), and

-Head is 1 inch below the top of the seat.

Child MUST meet BOTH of these requirements to use this Convertible Seat without the upper seatback installed.
